1) They are way too overpowered. Consider the +20% item drop rate nebulite. These can be used on Accessories, which there are six of in the game (four rings, eye acc, face acc). That's an extra +120% drop rate in total right off the bat (over double the base drop rate). Who can afford this? Rich players. Who benefits the most from this? Rich players who kill top bosses. Who doesn't this benefit? The vast majority of the population.
2) Dupers. Ever wonder why, historically, there are so many 4% all stat and 25% boss damage nebulites in the market despite their supposed rarity? Because they are MS Mesos uncommon and therefore extremely profitable for dupers. S-rank nebulites will be even rarer, and thus even more profitable to dupe. All they need is a single nebulite, and then they can create hundreds. Until Nexon finds a permanent way to stop or stamp down on duping, S-rank nebulites will simply be a cash cow for hackers.
To add onto what xDom said, we don't actually need them in the game. We already have players that can hit max damage on regular mobs without any of their tyrants equipped (Xpose aka xDom is one of them, though I can't find the SS at the moment), which proves that we don't need S rank nebs unless there is an absolutely massive damage cap increase with insanely broken bosses to follow (which is possibly the worst thing Nexon could do at the moment).

Many tests ago before I joined <Vendetta> I was the leader of <The Iron Brethren> which by the end of the test I had managed to lead a group of players new to the game including myself to Top 3 in the world in almost all categories. Yet far above us still was a mythical guild that commanded power and respect above any other, <Vendetta> I yearned to be part of something greater so I decided not to continue my guild and join at the request of who was impressed by what I had managed to accomplish in one test and he invited me into the fold. Back then <Vendetta> was a mythical beast, when they passed through your area they left utter Albion Online Power Leveling .This brings us to a crucial point in the history of <Vendetta> - The split of some hardcore core members going to <Finstack> I managed to enjoy just one test with <Vendetta> in the height of their power, as a recruit before the <Finstack> split. It was glorious.
Since the split, they have never been the same, anyone who denies just simply does not have the knowledge of being there and seeing it firsthand. Period. After the split, the gas tank just seemed to hit empty for most of the rest of their core, which in my humble opinon still to this day has not recovered. A large majority of the leftover longtime members still play "Burnt out" unable to recapture that previous glory or play the amount of time needed. Since then, the newest recruits for three tests now have ALWAYS played more then just a very select few of the core members, which has caused a plethora of issues we will delve into later.
Why did I stay for three more tests then? Because I am loyal, and I still believed in the vision that was <Vendetta> I believed that through aggressive recruitment of the right members with the right play style we could recover. Boy was I wrong.

Not having fast travel at all would alienate way to many people to the point of only having a certain amount of folks playing the game. I highly doubt that SI wants to turn this into Darkfall:HW population wise so having it I feel is a must. However, it should certainly be more expensive than it is now for sure. I would love to see an addition to the Albion Online Silver system, so that it isn't instant as someone mentioned above. I don't think it should be raidable like another poster mentioned but it should take some time. Maybe you watch the caravan run through all the areas just really fast or have a cut scene of sorts, unsure.
I would really love to see something akin to the Boat in EQ between continents. You literally zone into an area, on a boat and sit there till it travels across the zone. That I enjoyed a ton and it felt real. Would love something like this for the boats between continents but unsure how to make it work for the actual city-to-city transport short of just watching a wagon go through the zones as mentioned above.
I dont think Albion should have fast travel. So far i've been using it as a way to access multiple banks in a few seconds which, in a way, cheats the concept.HOWEVER. New players might buy an island and then join a guild that is based in a different city... Thus, making the access from their island to the guild island a horrible journey... i only understood this concept after upgrading my island to 3/6 and joining the guild that interested me.Moreover, someone mentionned a wow "heartstone", now THAT would break the system imo.
Lastly, instead of the current fast travel, we could have real time carriages. Basically, an autopilot that goes from a city to another (maybe after you have travel to that city once?) It would have to still be attackable for flagged player though... But it would at least stop people from instantly appearing from east coast to west coast.

I'm wondering if that would work here and if there are people that would be interested in something like that? I have said that I play a bunch of games and even though I am still playing P99, I was thinking that if we found a game we all could agree on, that was relatively inexpensive to play, that maybe that would be a good outlet for us while we wait for the next AO test.
I have started to download the shadowbane client to try out the emulator servers that are currently out and see how they are. I thought that this might be a good game for this Albion Online Silver
1. Anyone is interest in playing another game during the wait .2. If any guilds are already doing something along these lines inside their guild
IMO, AO would come first, so once a test started whoever was playing would drop and go to AO to test as long as they got a key, but I figured with so many people playing different games and/or looking for games, that this might be a good use of our time. Not to mention would allow our community to get a bit more tight nip and/or guilds to become closer.
Well there is magicbane and sbemu. There is a thread here stating that there is issues with magicbane but I've been on both boards and it seems that sbemu has lost a lot of population to magicbane cause banes have been removed from testing although sbemu has a test tonight for them as well as lag and connection buy Albion Online Gold issues are a problem for sbemu and not for magicbane.
Yea, all of these games are on my radar as well, however, as stated above with Archage, not sure if I will participate in that game. Not interested in lvling by quest, that's for damn sure. We will see though, if Ao comes out with a test, will be doing that, if not, may try Archage just for something to do, we will see.

PvP is a large part of the game, I never said otherwise. I simply stated that it is an RPG first and foremost. If progression is reduced to most people acquiring the best equipment, why have progression at all? And without progression, it really isn't an RPG, it'd be more of an MMOMOBA.
Which is not wrong, and in fact that's a neat idea, but not at all what I or most here want. We want something that is deeper, that focuses on the characters we play as much as the Albion Online Power Leveling. And really, I think your problem is the belief that you need 8.6 to be competitive, when even 5.1 is going to do a lot of damage as part of a group, that is still very valuable. Look at EvE, even pilots who are two weeks in can contribute in basic ships. They aren't going to be the most valuable, but they still help.
Also, even if you can wear 8.6, most of the time you won't. It'll be ludicrously expensive, something to break out only in the most dire and epic of circumstances. You're overstating how big of a deal it is, and using that as an argument to remove the RPG from the game and turn it into an arena / moba.
